How to Set Up

Step 1: Create the Lead Note AI Tool

1. Go to **AI Tools** in your dashboard

2. Click **Add Tool**

3. Click **Select Tool**

4. Select **Create Lead Notes**

Step 2: Configure the Tool

• **Tool Name**: Enter a specific name like "Record Contact Details" or "Capture Appointment Information"
• **Description**: Use the template description with ai_context=true/false

Step 3: Add to Your System Prompt

Add instructions to your AI agent's system prompt telling it when to use this tool.

Tips

• Use specific tool names that clearly describe what information should be captured
• Enable ai_context=true if you want the AI to reference these notes in future conversations
