AI on Facebook and Instagram Comments & Story Mentions

A new toggle lets you enable or disable AI auto-engagement for post comments and story mentions on Messenger and Instagram, so you can turn it on or off per situation.

What this enables

• **Capture leads automatically** when someone comments on your post or mentions your story. The AI Employee jumps in, qualifies, and starts a chat.
• **Pause automation during high-volume moments**. For example, during a live event, a paid launch, or a viral post where the comment thread would overwhelm the AI.

When to turn it ON

• You're running ads and want every comment on the post to become a chat thread automatically.
• You're getting story mentions and you don't want any of them to slip past your team.
• You want consistent, immediate engagement on social - even at 2 AM.

When to turn it OFF

• You're hosting a live event and the comment thread will get noisy in a way you'd rather curate manually.
• You've got a one-off viral post and you want the team to handle the volume by hand.
• You're testing changes to your AI Employee and don't want comments going through the auto-flow during QA.

Where to find it

Open your AI Employee or channel settings on Messenger / Instagram. Look for the AI on Comments & Story Mentions toggle.

Switch it ON or OFF based on the moment. Save your changes.

A note on volume

The AI Employee is designed to scale, but on a viral moment with hundreds or thousands of comments in a few minutes, you may want a human curator pacing the replies. This toggle gives you the off-switch when you need it - without unplugging the whole AI Employee.
