Facebook Messenger is Now Live!

When running Facebook ads, businesses could only direct customers to chat on WhatsApp. This was limiting because many customers might prefer to use Facebook Messenger, and there was no way to offer both.

✅ Solution

You can now add Facebook Messenger as a messaging channel! This connects your Facebook Business Page directly to your main conversations inbox. All your Facebook messages will appear in one place with your other chats (like WhatsApp or SMS), and your AI agent can reply to them 24/7.

How to Set It Up

Part 1: Prepare Your Facebook Business Portfolio

1. Open the setup link: salesbotsecrets.com/wa

2. Select your Business Portfolio

3. Click on **Pages** in the left menu

4. Click the blue **Add** button

5. Select **Add an existing Facebook Page**

6. Type and select your Facebook Page

7. Click **Next** and then **Add Page**

Part 2: Connect Facebook Messenger

1. Click on your **Profile** icon

2. Select **Messaging Channels**

3. Click **Add Messaging Channel**

4. Find **Facebook Messenger** and click it

5. Click **Start**

6. Click **Connect with Facebook Messenger**

7. Follow the Facebook prompts to grant permissions

8. You'll see "Facebook Messenger channel connected successfully!"

• **Tip**: If you can't see your page, complete Part 1 first using the special setup link.
• **Admin Check**: You must be an Admin of both the Facebook Page and the Meta Business Portfolio.
