Connect Your Telegram to ABC Sales AI

Follow these steps to set up your Telegram bot and connect it to your ABC Sales AI account.

Step 1: Create Your Telegram Bot

1. Open the Telegram app on your phone or desktop.
2. In the search bar, type @botfather (look for the account with a blue verification tick).
3. Start a chat with BotFather and send the command: \/newbot\
4. BotFather will ask you to choose a name for your bot. Enter a name (this is what users will see).
5. Next, BotFather will ask you to choose a username for your bot. The username must end with "bot" (e.g., \mycompany_bot\ or \MySalesBot\).
6. Once you complete these steps, BotFather will send you an API token. It looks like a long string of numbers and letters.
7. Copy this API token — you'll need it in the next step.

Step 2: Connect Telegram to ABC Sales AI

1. Log in to your ABC Sales AI dashboard.
2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner.
3. Select Messaging Channels from the dropdown menu.
4. Click the Add Messaging Channel button.
5. Find and select Telegram from the list of available channels.
6. Paste the API token you copied from BotFather into the field.
7. Click Done or Connect.

That's it! Your Telegram bot is now connected to ABC Sales AI, and your AI agent can start responding to messages on Telegram.

Step 3: Test Your AI

After connecting, you can test your bot by:

1. Opening Telegram
2. Searching for your bot's username
3. Sending a test message
4. Verifying that the AI responds correctly
