Prerequisites

• Admin Access: You must have "Full control" (Admin) permissions for the Meta Business Portfolio that owns the Facebook Page and the associated WhatsApp Business Account.

Step-by-Step Approval Process

Step 1: Link WhatsApp Number to Your Facebook Page

1. Log in to Facebook as your Page, not person. You might need to switch.
2. Go directly to this URL: https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=linked_whatsapp
3. Follow the prompts to connect your WhatsApp number to your Facebook Page if you haven't already done so.

Step 2: Log in to Meta Business Manager

After attempting to link your number to your Page, go to your Business Manager to approve the request.

1. Go to https://business.facebook.com/latest/settings/requests
2. Log in with the Facebook account that has admin access to your business portfolio with the WhatsApp number.
3. Within the Business Manager, look for a tab or section named Requests. This is where pending requests from third-party services appear.
4. You should see the pending connection request from your service provider. Click the Approve button next to it. This action confirms that you authorize the service to send messages on behalf of this phone number.
